Sininen is the larger of the two villages in the State of Eläinrata, the smaller one being Ristetä, located north-east of the Order of Eläinrata.

Sininen has a population of somewhat over a thousand people. Most of its inhabitants are veterans of the Order of Eläinrata. The temporary residents of the town, who consist largely of members of the Order on a leave, increase its population to between 1500 and 2000.
